The Power of Persuasion

Is there anyone out there who thinks if the store offers a product 2 for $1, you can't just buy 1 for fifty cents? Obviously, supermarkets think there are many shoppers who think so!

Not MacDonalds. The single serve apple pie is 2 for $1. When I bouht 1 the price was 89-cents.....so I ended up with 2.

Martin's Supermarkets allow you to just buy one at the sale price even though it may say Buy 10 yougurt for $5 or $6. There may be some cases where you must buy the required amount, but in general you don't have to buy a big quantity.
